The course is aimed at people with at least secondary education and initial experience in filmmaking who are interested in film. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in humanities, law or social sciences is welcome.
The aim is to provide practical training in the profession of Casting Assistant, to acquire reliable knowledge and skills in working with the Casting Director, actors, acting agencies and casting platforms in the process of creating the cast for a film or series.
Course participants will learn about the role of the casting director in films and television series. This knowledge will allow them to clearly define the scope of skills and responsibilities of a Casting Director Assistant at every stage of film and television series production. Classes will take the form of lectures, presentations and practical exercises.
Candidate requirements – communication skills, ease in establishing contacts with new people, discretion, precision and accuracy in action, ability to express thoughts concisely.
Messiness – not an option!
Course participants will receive a certificate of completion.

She has worked as a casting director for twenty years. Her filmography includes over 50 Polish and international feature films and TV series. Her book “Casting. The First Meeting Actor–Director” (2017), published by the film publisher Wojciech Marzec, is the first and only Polish book dedicated to the topic of casting direction in Polish cinema.
As a casting director, she worked on films such as “Sonata” by Bartosz Blaschke, “Dark, Almost Night” by Borys Lankosz, “80 Million” by Waldemar Krzystek, “Suicide Room” by Jan Komasa, “In the Name Of” by Małgorzata Szumowska, “Volta” by Juliusz Machulski, and “The Red Spider” by Marcin Koszałka. She also prepared casts for international productions such as “I, Olga Hepnarova” directed by Tomás Weinreb and Petr Kazda, “Mother” directed by Lee Mackintosh Jones, and “Strawberry Days” directed by Wiktor Ericsson.
In the films and series in, she cast, young actors made their debuts in leading roles, including Bartosz Bielenia, Filip Pławiak, Zofia Wichłacz, Michalina Olszańska, Jakub Gierszał, Mateusz Więcławek, and most recently Michał Sikorski. These acting debuts have received multiple recognitions, including from European Shooting Stars, the Polish Film Festival, and the Polish Film Awards.
She is a member of the Guild of Casting Directors, the Polish Filmmakers Association, and the Polish Society of Folklore. Certified Tree Inspector.

A casting director with extensive experience and an impressive body of work. She was awarded the Weronika Migoń Prize for her casting work on the film “Silent Night” directed by P. Domalewski.
She graduated from the Faculty of Radio and TV at the University of Silesia in Katowice, now known as the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School at the University of Silesia in Katowice.
In 2022, together with her colleagues, she co-founded the Guild of Polish Casting Directors (PCDG).
She is a member of the global casting directors’ association, the International Casting Directors Association (ICDA).
