From 2010 to 2013, he studied at the Cinematography Department of the Theatre and Cinematography University in Yerevan, while simultaneously taking his first steps on film sets in the lighting department. In 2017, he completed a postgraduate cinematography course at AMA Film School.

He has over a decade of experience working on television programs, live broadcasts, commercials, music videos, interviews, TV series, feature films, and documentaries.

After moving to Poland in 2016, he had the pleasure of working with Krzysztof Lang on Ach śpij kochanie, with Agnieszka Holland on Obywatel Johns, and with Małgorzata Szumowska directing Śniegu już nigdy nie będzie.

On a daily basis, he collaborates with major film and television production centres such as Cinelight, Heliograf, ATM, and Polsat, and is widely recognized as a master of lighting.
