We are delighted to announce the next edition of film:lab – this time moving to historic Potsdam, where four intensive days of workshops will be held by renowned film industry experts. The meetings will take place in a unique location – in the very heart of Germany’s film heritage, Babelsberg in Potsdam.

The workshop for 1st Assistant Directors led by Stephan Brunn (26–27.05) offers a practical insight into the role of a 1st AD, with a focus on shooting planning and working under special conditions (SFX, stunt performers, explosions, etc.).

The four-day intensive workshop titled Distribution & Market Strategist is designed for those wishing to explore the intricacies of festival strategies, film law, impact campaigns, and navigating film markets.
