Lediona Kasapi is a cinema enthusiast, born and raised in Albania, and currently based in Berlin. She studied law at the University of Tirana and participated in the NEXT WAVE program at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (DFFB) in 2020.
She has worked as a sales assistant, legal advisor in the creative industry, and has experience in roles related to international relations. She co-founded WE ARE HERE, an organization connecting distributors with cinemas (and other film-presenting entities), focusing on promoting films produced by underrepresented communities.
With pride and enthusiasm, she discovers and promotes films that are genre-blending within the arthouse cinema stream from around the world.
